To Conference Organizers: What we do...What you do

  • We bring all necessary recording equipment
  • We ask for adequate tables (normally, based on the number of sessions this is either six 8 ft tables or eight 6 ft tables), 150 sessions or more will require more tables. We also require accessible electricity.
  • We act as a liaison with your speakers. If any of them have ‘speaking’ needs, we attempt to communicate that to you, or if within our ability will take care of that ourselves. There are times when a speaker needs extension cords, or multiple outlets or perhaps a wireless microphone. When possible, we supply any of these requests.
  • We try to help the speakers feel more comfortable in their presentation. We do not ask any speaker to ‘start’ their own session. Our goal is to not interfere with the speaker’s presentation and appear ‘invisible’ as we do our job. All of this is communicated directly to the speaker. In addition to beginning and ending the recording, we also do audio checks to ensure that there are not technical problems with the recording.
  • We provide a “5 minute” sign to the speakers to help your conference stay on track time-wise. This alerts the speaker as to the time he/she has left and takes that concern off of your shoulders.
  • All speakers receive a complementary copy of their session and when possible we extend a 10% discount to any further purchases they make. It is the speaker’s responsibility to pick up their session at our booth at the end of their session.
  • We also make available to you as conference organizers, tapes of speakers we have worked with in previous years to help you in your search for quality speakers. We can also make recommendations of speakers based on your conference needs.

Royalty:
We try to offer a royalty on our services that is personal to your organization. We offer some creative suggestions such as:

  • Trading out your royalty for tapes or tape sets to be given to your volunteers or board members. This is a great way to reward your conference helpers and/or board members that miss sessions in order to help the conference happen. We offer these at a greatly reduced price that can be deducted off of your royalty.
  • Making a donation to a charity in the name of your organization.
  • Sending a set of conference tapes to a missionary you designate (this to be mailed to a US contact address).
